Strength In Numbers ![]() ‘Strength in numbers’ - It’s not just a saying where The Liverpool Fury are concerned with 6 new additions to their coaching staff in the off season. The 2007 - 2008 season had seen the Fury coached by 4 individuals in the teams first year but through hard work, recruiting and the willingness to work with some less experienced coaches that number has grown to 10 for the 2008-2009 season. The new coaches seeing the talent and potential at the Fury have jumped at the chance to help develop it. The new coaches are a mix of veteran players and those relatively new to the game who are keen to learn the game under the guidance of the experienced coaches at the club. In addition to the chance of being mentored by the veteran coaches at the club the Fury this week revealed their “Coaching Education Program”, this program encourages young coaches to get involved in the practical and strategic sides of the game. By setting aside part of the clubs budget each year to subsidise coaches through their coaching qualifications the Fury are actively encouraging the continual development of their coaches. Meet the new Fury coaches.
Even though the coaching staff for this year is set the Fury are always looking to add coaches that are willing to learn to their staff. Please contact head coach Joe Black on joe@liverpoolfury.org.uk if you are interested.
