Join the Fury

The Fury are always looking for new players, coaches and helpers. All three positions require only an enthusiasm for the game and a sense of humour.

We offer:

Players come in all shapes, sizes and genders. Whether you think you are: too short; too tall; too small; or too big; you will be welcomed to play for us. Full training will be provided to help you enjoy the great sport of American football.

There is a shortage of quality coaches in the UK at the current time. Quality coaches will often come from players who have played the game to a high level but some of the top coaches including Mike Leach (Texas Tech) and Charlie Weis (Notre Dame) did not play the game past the high school level. For this reason we welcome those that wish to try coaching the sport and offer an active coach education program to ensure that our coaches have the knowledge to do the job effectively.

To enable the Fury to put a team on the field and keep the club running smoothly there are many varied tasks that need to be completed. Full training will be provided to anyone wishing to help the club.
